How do I make greeting cards on Microsoft Word using my own pictures?

Go here and download a greeting card template that has the layout you like, designed for MS Word. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templa...

This will open in Word when you download it. If you got the type that will print on an 8 1/2 x 11 page, then it folds twice, and part of the page is upside down. This is necessary so it will all work when folded.

Most likely, the image is in the upper left-hand corner AND upside-down. No problem. Just click the image that is in the template (little square boxes will show around the edges so you know it is selected), and then (from the menu bar up top) choose Insert/Picture/From File, browse to your image and load it. This should replace the stock image with your own.

To rotate your image so it is upside down, double-click the picture so the "Format Picture" dialogue box opens. Choose "Size". In the "Rotation" box, type 180. Press enter.

In the same way you can replace all the existing text/image from the template so that the card becomes fully customized.

Good luck! It is very cool to make your own greeting cards! Very personal. And I personally prefer to do most of my documents in Word, and not have a bunch of one-function programs like a greeting card program. I end up not using them. And once you get the experience in Word, making a card is very very fast.

it's really better to have a program for cards, see if you can download {cardcreations} I have on I could upload but you still need this disk. just type in cardcreations if it is not free type freegreetingcards. good luck
Reply:Using MS Word, what you see is what you get. Just type the text layout and import the pictures. Very simple. You can also download templates from the Microsoft Website. Once you navigate to their website, just do a search for templates.
