If I wanted to start a greeting-cards website, where would I start?

I have my (cpannel) website, and I have tons of beautiful photos, but how do I turn my ideas into post cards? Is there software that does this? (if so, what's the best one? or the best one to start with?)

Please let me know, I know nothing about this.

Thanks,

Theres a program called Clickbooks but I am not sure it allows you to design your own cards. But I have heard from friends that it is cool. It is free to try on the website. http://www.bluesquirrel.com/
Reply:There used to be this program called greeting card magic, or something like that. I don't know if its still available. The last time i heard of it was when Windows XP started up.

One thing you could do is open a word processer, make the page landscape and add 2 columns. On the first page, the left column is the front of the card, and the right column is the back of the card. The next page would be the inside left and right sides, matching the columns. Then print it out double sided or do a screenshot of that and crop out the window border and toolbars and all the stuff you don't want.
Reply:Don't know if you are familiar with sendoutcards.com but it's basically an online greeting card company that we use where you can send postcards, greeting cards, and tri-fold cards. You can upload photos and make your own cards. They also have a section where people can buy custom designed cards from outside vendors. Not suggesting this would stop you from doing what you want, but looking at their site may give you some ideas.
