I'm an every occasion person - I send St. Patrick's Day cards to everyone, even if they're not Irish!

How likely are you to send greeting cards?
in the days of email and text, cards are a forgotten method of communication which people hold on to for emotional reasons and can mean so much so i try whenever possible to send a card for a special occasion. Esp thank you, thought of you today, hope you are feeling better, etc. Not the best at doing birthday cards - feels too perfunctory.





Someone i knew recently had a child who died and the cards she received have become some of her prized possessions.
Reply:i'm a "Sorry i forgot" person. And i apologise by sms.
Reply:I only send them if I know I have to and I go cheap on them. Seriously. It offends me to spend $5 on a card I know will get chucked w/in a few hours. I write a lot of personal notes instead on personalized stationery.

Reply:I'm a now and again kind of person. Birthday's, xmas, new babies, weddings, engagement and new houses are a must as are random any time cards to people that don't live near me!





I love getting wee cards!





My sister is an 'every occasion' card. She even found one for our nephew which said 'good luck on your first day at school' which was lovely!
Reply:I am at the point where I send cards less frequently than ever. Before I was married, I would send my sweetheart a card every day. Now, it is rare that I will do anything other than a valentine and a birthday card.





I have not sent Christmas cards for about 4 years.





I would rather call somebody on the telephone or visit them in person. Yeah, they get me instead of a card. LOL

Reply:i am an almost every occasion kinda girl....b-days, wedding ,anniversary's, good luck, Xmas,moving house,new baby,condolences,don't normally send Easter cards unless someone is really religious ...costs a damn fortune

Reply:I used to send a lot of cards! Then I had a stroke and writing became a real struggle.

Reply:I used to send cards for anything and everything, but now with Ecards - that's what I do.


Saves $4 in a card and .50 cents for a stamp and gas and time.





I just sent off Bday Ecards to two neices and my sister today =)


I have one sister who has 13 kids %26amp; one who has 4...


plus have another sister and both parents and my own pride and joy...


Ecards saves me a fortune every year =)





However, I do send out actual physical Xmas cards out to everyone every year - including my relitives in Holland.
