I need foil on my greeting cards, how?

I have to make some cards look foiled and don't have access to an omnicrom machine. Pens are pretty rubbish, I have to make it look realistic.

You could try burnishing gold leaf and silver leaf onto the card where needed - although you will probably need to mask the rest of the card to avoid getting it where you don't want it.
Reply:A small foil blocking machine is pretty cheap and uses reels of foil and heats a block but it is a palaver. You could try rolls of foil from such a machine but heat with a soldering iron. I have not tried this but suspect it would work. Otherwise you could try gluing the foil.
