I have a big shoe box of greeting cards that have been given to me over the years and am wondering if there is a creative way that I can use them? I don't want to throw them out but I also don't want to keep them stored in a shoe box in my attic. Anyone have any creative ideas?
What should I do with greeting cards that have been given to me?
You'll have to look around to find them, but there is a charity that accepts greeting cards
Reply:a scrap book or create a file and file them away.
Reply:Why don't you just hang them up aroung ur room!! On the walls and stuff.
Reply:If they are something you don't mind cutting up then you can take the picture and matt and frame it and give it as a gift or keep for sentimental reasons. Maybe even a collage of the cards. they also have end tables and coffee tables with glass like a shadow box that you could arrange them in.
Reply:I'd make a scrapbook with them. Put pictures you have with the appropriate cards. eg, Christmas cards with pictures of Christmas of that year.
Reply:oh, oh, oh, just sat down on a tac, but you could collect them and frame them or make a collage out of them
Reply:I personally have a scrap book and I also have a room where I keep old post card and things that friends have given to me through out the years. I have them on a shelf and on a wall in a certain area of the house.
Reply:you could create a montage of them. cutting out the best bits and mounting them in a frame.
Or cut off the nice parts and re-use them to make cards to send to others or offer them to chariites to sell for funds.
Go to the Docrafts .co.uk website for lots of ideas. There are lots of other card making sites too. Image-n-ation is another, MAd about cards etc. Hope this helps
Reply:Make bookmarkers out of them. Snip out pretty parts with pinking shears-attach ribbon to the top!
Reply:you could make a scrap book of cards.. or a coluge.. not sure that is spelled right..
Reply:You can cut out the pictures and use a hole punch to make a hole and put a pretty ribbon through it. These tags can be used on gifts for birthdays, Christmas or any occasion.
Reply:Cut the covers off and donate to pre-school to use for art projects?
