How can i make the letters on my handmade greeting cards look like a hologram.?

I have seen something once before where the hologram color was transfered to a take out menu by using an iron. I didnt catch what the actual name of the transfer paper, and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I would also like any other ideas for adding holographic coloring to cards. thanks.
