I have a big shoe box of greeting cards that have been given to me over the years and am wondering if there is a creative way that I can use them? I don't want to throw them out but I also don't want to keep them stored in a shoe box in my attic. Anyone have any creative ideas?
What should I do with greeting cards that have been given to me?
You'll have to look around to find them, but there is a charity that accepts greeting cards
Also, a good place to check is...

All the best to you.
Reply:I cut off the front page and re-use it. I trim it a bit and glue it to a blank card. This way if there is any writing on the back of the front page it will be covered. This worked really well with Christmas cards. I had a box of unused cards with really lame pictures. I covered those up with the nice ones and had really pretty ones that were also recycled. You can do the same with any occasion. People seem to really appreciate that they were recycled and saving on waste.
Reply:I keep them for a little while and then put them in the recycling bin. Otherwise it's just hoarding and it adds to the clutter.

Reply:lets see... make them into postcards and send them to people...make book marks...make origami things...folded gift boxes...recipe cards...cut them into puzzles after you glue them to heavier cardstock...Christmas ornaments...could put some pretty ones in frames...I once used old ones and patchworked a design put it in a frame and you would never realize it was old cards that you used...
